Wrong Turn
This movie had a lot of potential. For a time I thought it might be better than Cabin Fever. It had more potential than that movie. It’s yet another attempt to rekindle the lost mystique of the 70s horror movie, the teens lost in the wood/house stalked by a monster/monstrous personality. It actually works for almost 90% of the movie. But its ending destroys it, it is ridiculous. It’s like the movie reaches a point where you think, “yeh, fine. It works. But that’s all, I won’t watch it again, so don’t think of setting yourself up for a seq- OOOOOH DAMN, why’d you do that?” This movie kicks itself in the ass. It’s in my bottom 10 movies of all time, purely because of its ending.
