Not much new here that couldn’t be covered in a good triple bill, say, Blair Witch, Saw and The Hitcher for starters. It takes a similarly niggling approach to the “based on true events” that Open Water did … kinda, “some people went missing and they were never found and therefore anything could’ve happened and here’s a possibility …” But it’s very well done, very nasty, and worth a look.
