Hated it, hated it hated it. Give me The Prince of Egypt any day over this. The visual effects are pretty stunning, I have to say; but I seem to recall seeing a clip of Demille’s first version from 1923, now that takes my breath away. At some point I really want to watch the whole original version, maybe then, and only then, will I bring myself to watch this overblown epic again.
