I’ve seen this before, I think, but this is the first time I paid proper attention. It reminded me of Clint Eastwood’s Absolute Power which also starred Gene Hackman and I’m sure had a similar plot but which I know was made after. I was quite impressed, I know that much, and would still watch it again: I’m sure this is why I watched it a second time this time, it’s certainly a re-watchable film. But having said that, I couldn’t really write about it in detail. It’s just a slick political thriller which happens to be one I could watch again.
