I loved this movie for the first half. But I think there should have maybe been some other plot introduced, because it does run dry eventually. The lines are hilarious, and there’s a lot of great fast-talking stuff like Howard Hawks’ movies. No great set-pieces and visual tricks or macguffins like you’d expect in a Hitchcock movie, but his hand is evident, I think.
