This was a major disappointment for me, especially after seeing the pretty bad Two Evil Eyes which Dario Argento (director here) co-directed. I’d heard that Trauma was like his masterpiece or something. To me, it’s just silly, the entire story in place as an excuse for gross deaths. And don’t get me wrong, I love mindless gore and death for death’s sake in movies, that’s the genre of horror, I’m a Hitchcock fan for heck’s sake… but here, it’s just too gratuitous… too TV-movie-ish.
