I was pretty sure I’d seen this movie before but it must’ve been a heavily cut version. I remembered it being pretty nasty, but in this (presumably uncut) version, it’s among the nastiest. It’s kind of a blend of the worst parts of The Exorcist with the worst parts of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and yet for some reason it’s extremely funny. I realise it’s considered a comedy movie as well as a horror movie, yet I can’t think of any specific moment that I found funny. It’s more the totally unabashed gross-ness of the whole thing that’s either funny in itself or just so awful that you have to laugh or you’d have to turn it off.
