Kinda needless-to-say, this is not as interesting as the original, mainly because you know who the killer is from the off (okay, it’s pretty obvious in the original who’s doing it, but at least they don’t flat out show you lol). Basically, the first and only unique thing I have to say on this one is, omg, did I just find the source of the annoyingly obvious alteration of my surname (Shoat – shit) that I’ve run into practically all my life? lol, I mean I get excited enough when I hear my surname in a movie ‘cos it happens so rarely but when I heard them refer to the “shit sisters” and then explained it I totally had to rewind lol.

Actually, there is one other thing worth noting about the movie – Pamela Springsteen is fantastic, I can’t wait to see the 3rd installment just for her, she’s just hysterical. They seem to have dragged the original’s Felissa Rose out of hiding to play Angela in the new Sleepaway Camp movies, I can’t help but think I’d rather see more of Springsteen, she really makes the movie and to be honest, the more I think about her, the more I can imagine watching this part more readily than the original again. But I’ve always had an inexplicable thing for part IIs in these video nasties, could just be that.
