I really don’t think I’ve been as disturbed by a film as I was by this one since The Sixth Sense. There’s kind of a lot to criticise about this movie – most of all the (at times) very dodgy acting – but the impact of the horror on me was immense. A very impressive, gruesome, unpleasant blend of Se7en and movies of the like. I really feel compelled to give this one 5 stars on this viewing, though I don’t have a lot more to add.
