This thriller certainly has its moments but it’s let down by a fairly lame ending, featuring some of the most ludicrous cops I’ve ever seen. It’ll remind anyone who’s seen them of Duel, The Vanishing, Breakdown, The Hitcher ... you get the gist – but this is one of those stories you can do over and over, like the monster-stalks-teenager thing – oh, this one does that too Ted Levine was a good choice for the voice of Rusty Nail, it’s like Buffalo Bill come back to life, he has one creepy voice.
