Finally got round to watching it. I had next to no interest in this movie when it first was released, but I couldn’t pass up a £4.99 DVD featuring as many extras as this one has. I tried to watch it a few weeks ago but only got about 45 minutes in before falling asleep.

Really, it’s just a bit of fun. I expect the sequel will be more of the same. I remember people talking about it with the same excitement as people talked about Pirates of the Caribbean last year, but give me Johnny over Matt and Brad and George any day.

Two things at least didn’t disappoint me in this movie regarding my initial expectation of absolute awfulness – Don Cheadle, please, WTF? And Matt Damon’s effing chewing all the time. I hate when actors do mindless crap that serves no other purpose than “looking cool”, I hate it even more when it doesn’t even work at that, lol.

Damn, why do I keep getting so pissy in my reviews lately, lol? Honestly, I enjoyed it more than I’m making it sound :-p
