Again, I don’t quite know how to review Monty Python movies, because I’ve been on both sides of the fence – I actually remember what it’s like to have no interest whatsoever in the Pythons – and it comes down to a love it or loathe it situation. Of all the movies though, this one is my favourite, I think. It has the Knights of Ni, wicked naughty Zoot, and my favourite Python exchange, “What is your favourite colour?” “Blue! No, yellooooowwwww!” or, indeed, “Must be a king … well, he hasn’t got sh*t all over him.” And the opening credits … and the coconut shells … I could go on and on in ways I probably never could with Life of Brian or Meaning of Life.
