Wow. No, really, wow. Welcome to true WTF territory. To be honest, it almost doesn’t feel right to give the movie that rating, and I’m not going to, because more than anything this movie feels like peeking through the window of an insane asylum, and to that end it’s almost fascinating in a shitty-reality-tv-i-never-watch kind of way; but it is not, by any definition of the word, funny. So, for the record – WTF. It’s an insult to black people, an insult to little people, an insult to nine year olds (seriously, you guys complaining about The Dakota Rape Movie? did you miss this real cinematic child abuse?) ... but most of all it’s an insult to Chazz Palminteri. He plays a character clearly written for Christopher Walken pretty much as Christopher Walken, and had Walken himself done it, it would’ve been forgivable – after all Walken famously will do any part that’s offered to him if you pay him enough, he’s a workaholic. Palminteri, though … he’s so much better than this, and it’s embarrassing. I won’t even mention the fact that it breaks 90 minutes when it really shouldn’t even break 75. Whoops I did.
