I really don’t know whether or not I’ve seen this movie before, I’m almost certain I must have since I’ve grown up in a household where, whenever the Bond movies are on TV (which is often), they’re watched. Anyway, today I’m finally counting this one as seen. The thing is, I still don’t know if I will ever remember it. I really don’t like the old Bond movies much at all, and the late-80s/early-90s ones are worst of all. They look like straight-to-video movies, or worse, soap operas, to me.

Only a nasty death involving high pressure and sudden air release stands even a chance of staying in my memory of this one. Timothy Dalton is simply no Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery or Roger Moore. Heck, I’m sure he’s not even a George Lazenby (who I haven’t seen – well, I probably have, like I said) or whoever they pick next. Even the title song passes in one ear and out the other on this one. Blagh.
