Interesting movie, but it doesn’t exactly go anywhere. The whole thing seems so passive. There’s no jolt when the end comes, it mostly happens off screen and nobody seems to grieve much. It’s almost like the Michael Pitt’s “Kurt Cobain”* is already dead, long before he’s left this earth. I don’t know quite what message this movie is trying to send, if any, but like I said, it’s interesting.

*(I realise it’s only ‘based on’ Cobain’s story, here the rocker is called Blake, but they might as well have used the name since the look is so uncanny)
