This one’s really not to be missed. Despite some major flaws, in particular its slightly (and I think I’m being generous) hokey bookend story, this movie truly has a heart and some incredibly sweet moments, not to mention a really nice score by Geoff Zanelli of the Media Ventures team. I hope the critical mauling this movie received doesn’t deter David Duchovny from writing and/or directing again, unless of course this one was as one-off and personal as it feels.
