Decent Western, and that’s pretty nice words from me. Early on it felt to me like too many ideas were floating around – one, a subplot between the hero, who robbed a bank before the movie starts, and a bank teller chasing him (since he’s become the only suspect back home), would make a great movie today by itself – but all these keep the movie afloat in what could’ve been an incredibly dull middle section (they’re on a stagecoach; it breaks down; they’re stranded in the desert).

It’s a movie I never expect to see or even hear of again, but it was an okay hour and a half.
