The story’s pretty shockingly thin here, but I have to admit, the animation is pretty gorgeous in places – especially considering it comes from a non-Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks studio. Jack Johnson’s whimsical music finally finds a place where it works perfectly, and the rest of the score ain’t too shabby either. And little George himself? Too cute. Definitely one that would be absolutely amazing to share with younger children. This is one that won me over more and more with each passing minute and I’m sure repeat viewings will only continue that trend.
