It’s Disney formulaic as f**k, lol (excuse me, can’t think of another way to put it), but this was a lot better than I expected. I laughed loud and hard pretty much all the way through, and the way the whole thing is plotted really holds the attention span. I didn’t really know the whole story except for the whole “sky is falling” part and expected a basic retelling of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” but I was pleasantly surprised by the detour the movie takes in its first half, and then the even bigger detour taken for the second. The whole thing gives the animators a chance to do a lot of different and interesting things, too. Soundtrack is very obvious and corny, but it mostly works.
