The kind of movie you either know is going to be good or you know is going to be bad depending on your outlook. You already know if you’re going to like this movie or not, trust me, so take that gut feeling and use it. I knew I would love it. Jim Carrey acquires the powers of God. How can it fail? It can’t. This is the kind of whacky comedy that even Morgan Freeman can dip his toes into without ever appearing less than the serious actor he is. Pure entertainment-wise, this is perfect.
