Hmm… this one has too many ups and downs for me. The opening shot is dazzling, it has some great, cynical moments. But the tone varies too much, even down to an almost surreal, “South Park”-like moral ending (‘you know, I’ve learned something today…’).

It’s fun to spot the actors, though – Morgan Freeman (probably the most consistent performance in the movie), F. Murray Abraham, Kim Cattrall, even Kirsten Dunst (aged 8, looking seriously sweet in her one close up) puts in an appearance. And as it’s Brian De Palma, there’s always the technical marvel.
