I can’t believe there was a time, not so long ago, when I wouldn’t touch Adam Sandler movies with a barge pole. Thankfully, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Punch-Drunk Love changed that. This is just a typically cute taking-care-of-the-kid movie, no more or less.
