This one’s fun enough, though at times it reminded me of the slightly underwhelming The Stepford Wives, in the way it kind of plods through its storyline so robotically. But the cast couldn’t be better. The approach to the adaptation from TV to movie is more interesting than you’d expect, too. Heather Burns has the best lines, like, “We could set his trailer on fire. Let’s just do it!” “I have a taser, we could taser him and dump him in the tank at Sea World.” If I remember correctly, her character here is pretty similar to the one she played in Nora Ephron’s 1998 movie, You’ve Got Mail.
