Milla Jovovich - The Divine Comedy 5 star

Love this one so much. It’s a lot like Kate Bush and Alisha’s Attic, both of which I love, and I recommend both those if you like Milla. It’s quirky, catchy, “out there,” and yet also so easy to listen to. It doesn’t hurt that she’s beautiful too, are there videos for any of these songs, I wonder? :-) I just can’t believe it’s taken me so long to discover it (it was released over a decade ago). She’s actually a better singer-songwriter (I think she writes at least some of her songs, anyway) than actress. I’m listening to it still as I type this and I’m still just kind of stunned by how Alisha’s Attic-like it is, I didn’t think I’d ever hear something so similar. My favourite song on the album? Funnily enough it’s the least quirky of the lot, the kind of Enya-like “In a Glade”. A beautiful end to this major surprise of an album.

I want that CD. But people are like,”You’re gonna look back and laugh at how stupid you were…” I’m gonna buy it anyway. :|
