This was way, way better than expected. Bo Derek is perfect in the role of the young woman who tempts Dudley Moore away from wife Julie Andrews. Little else really happens in the movie, but my eyes barely left the screen for the 2 hour duration. Blake Edwards even sneaks in a few Clouseau-like gags, and it’s proof of the varied tone of the movie – tragi-comic, romantic – that they never seem too out of place. Easily the best movie of its kind I’ve seen to date.
